 This track provides instruction and labs that explores the installation,​ configuration,​ and management of VMware vSphere, which consists of VMware ESXI and VMware vCenter Server. This course is based on versions of ESXI 5.5 and vCenter server 5.5. Completion of this course satisifies the prerequisite for taking the VMware Certified Professional 5 (VCP-DCV5) exam.  +**John Vos**  has been an active Professor of Computer Information Technology at Western Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah, KY for 26 years. John has been a leader in providing professional development and technical training to instructors at the secondary and post-secondary level throughout the Commonwealth. He is the current Kentucky Academy Training and Support Academy lead Cisco Instructor Trainer. He holds professional certifications as a Cisco CCNA, CCNA Security, Comptia A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and VMware Certified Professional. John has been the lead VMware Instructor trainer for CSSIA over the past three years teaching VMware certification to more than 500 instructors from the entire US. He has participated as a presenter at several National and Regional CIT conferences and is a member of the National Advisory Board at the Center for Telecommunications System Management, a program of distinction at Murray State University in Murray, KY.
